Tofu Eggs

This is a simple and quick "egg" recipe that can be added to hash, breakfast burritos etc.

Ingredients

  • 1 Package Firm Organic Tofu Drained and crumbled
  • 1 t Garlic Powder
  • 1 t Onion Powder
  • 2 t Turmeric (or a bit more)
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 2 T Oat or any non-dairy milk
  • ½ t Veggie Paste
  • 1 T Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Slice the tofu into 5 slabs. Wrap in a towel or paper towel, place on a plate and press out the liquid. Or use a tofu press if you have one....😊.
    For firmed tofu eggs, use firm tofu. If you want softer, creamier tofu eggs, use medium firm or even silken tofu.
  • Once the tofu has been pressed, crumble into a bowl. Add the spices, non dairy milk and veggie stock paste. Mix well.
  • Add 1 T of olive oil to a small fry pan. Cook the tofu for about 5 minutes over medium heat or until some of the tofu starts to brown. Salt and pepper to taste.
