Every little bit helps!

I talk a lot about my 3 pillars of being a vegan and how you need to commit to all 3 so that your decision is more than a diet – it is a lifestyle based on your ethics, morals and desire to improve animal welfare and the world.  If it is a lifestyle decision, your passion and emotion with drive your motivation to continue forward.  My 3 pillars are…

I haven’t been big on using outside sources to make my point.  This is my site and it is my passion and I hope I can convince you that you should at least consider the ramifications of all your life decisions and the impact on you and others.  I know that every little bit helps, so if I can encourage someone to try a vegan meal once a week we are all headed in the right direction.  And of course, you won’t have to sacrifice on flavor – I promise you great tasting food, full of big and bold flavors without the meat.  TRUST ME on this!

So I going to deviate a little from my norm.  I just read a great article from the BBC talking about the effect of plant based diets on our environment.  I guess a little science fact is needed from time to time to add credibility to what I am trying to do and why I am so passionate about it.  It a great read and I strongly encourage you to take the time to read it, reflect on it and use it help you in your journey.
