Ingredients
- 2 T Vegan Butter
- 1 Sm Onion Diced
- 2 T Flour
- 2 to 3 Cloves Garlic Minced
- 2 T Corn Starch
- 1 1/2 Cup Veggie Stock
- 2 T Soy Sauce
- 2 T Nutritional Yeast
- Salt and lots of pepper
Instructions
- Saute the onion in the butter.
- Add the flour and the garlic and continue to cook until the onion starts to brown. Turn the heat down and don't burn the garlic. Approx. 3 to 5 minutes.
- Warm up the veggie stock and the corn starch together. Slowly add to the onion/garlic mixture and whisk until well incorporated. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer to thicken. You can always add more corn starch if needed.
- Add in the soy sauce, nutritional yeast, salt and plenty of black pepper. Use an immersion blender and blend until smooth. If you use a regular blender, Do NOT put hot gravy in the blender - you must cool it first.
- Simmer for a few more minutes and serve.
