Ingredients

  • 16 oz Brussel Sprouts
  • 2 T Olive oil
  • 1/4 Cup Balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T Maple syrup
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Preheat the over to 425 degrees
  • Trim the ends off the sprouts and cut them in half.  Save any loose leaves that separate - they turn into brussel sprouts chips!
  • Toss the brussel sprouts and leaves with the olive oil.  Add salt and pepper.
  • Place the brussel sprouts and leaves on a baking sheet and roast in the oven until golden brown - About 15 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and place the brussel sprouts and leaves into a large fry pan.  Turn the heat to medium, drizzle the balsamic reduction over the brussel sprouts and cook for 2 minutes.  Serve immediately and enjoy!

Balsamic Reduction

  • Place the balsamic vinegar and maple syrup in a small pan.  Slowly bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a simmer.
  • Reduce the total liquid by about 1/3 or until it starts to thicken.  Remove from heat.
